Our Story

Built by Educators Who
Actually Speak Japanese

Ceesa Academy started with one frustration: nothing taught Japanese the way Nepali students actually learn. So we built it ourselves.

CEO of Ceesa Academy

“We don’t just teach Japanese — we open doors to Japan.”

When I started Ceesa Academy, I saw too many talented Nepali students held back by scattered resources and one‑size‑fits‑all methods. I knew we could do better.

Every course we’ve built, every lesson we teach, comes from a deep respect for our students’ dreams — whether that’s passing the JLPT, securing an SSW visa, or simply connecting with Japanese culture on a deeper level.

Our promise is simple: structured, supportive, and genuinely bilingual education that meets you where you are. Seeing our 1,500+ graduates thrive in Japan is the greatest reward.

Our Core Values

Everything we build comes back to these four principles.

Structure Over Chaos

No random lessons. Every module builds logically on the last, so you always know exactly where you stand and what's next.

Real Conversation Focus

Textbook Japanese isn't enough. We teach the language people actually use — at convenience stores, job interviews, and with neighbors.

Built for Nepali Learners

Bilingual instruction, culturally relevant examples, and a deep understanding of what trips up Nepali speakers specifically.

Proof, Not Promises

We track outcomes obsessively. A 60%+ first-attempt JLPT pass rate isn't a slogan — it's a number we work to improve every term.

How We Got Here

1
2021

Founded in a Small Classroom

Ceesa Academy began as in-person weekend classes in Kathmandu, teaching just 12 students with handwritten worksheets and pure passion.

2
2022

First Online Curriculum Launched

We digitized our N5 course into a structured online format, reaching students beyond Kathmandu for the first time — Pokhara, Biratnagar, and beyond.

3
2023

SSW Program Introduced

Responding to growing demand from Nepali workers headed to Japan, we built a dedicated SSW exam-preparation track — now one of our most popular courses.

4
2024

Full N5–N1 Curriculum Completed

After two years of development, all six JLPT levels were live — making Ceesa Nepal's only complete, structured beginner-to-advanced Japanese pathway.

2026

1,500+ Students & Growing

Today we're Nepal's most trusted Japanese-learning platform, with a 4.9-star rating and dozens of students working and studying in Japan.
